NEW ZEALAND CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY PROGRAM (NZCAP)
KYS Business School has signed an agreement with a consortium of three leading universities in New Zealand – Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), the University of Auckland (UoA) and the University of Canterbury (UC), to realize its aims to support the nation in producing more professionally qualified chartered accountants in Malaysia to fulfil our aspiration in achieving the developed nation status by 2020.

THE NEW ZEALAND DEGREE PROGRAM
There are two components in the academic program leading to the attainment of a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from one of the Consortium Universities. They are the Malaysian Component and the New Zealand Component.
1. THE MALAYSIAN COMPONENT
This is a two-year program which is taught at KYS Business School, Ayer Keroh comprising one year of Foundation Studies and one year of study based on VUW’s first year Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) courses and other courses as may be added by KYS Business School in consultation with the Advisory Board.
2. THE NEW ZEALAND COMPONENT
This is the component of the Program to be taught by a Consortium University in New Zealand comprising a minimum of 240 points of New Zealand academic credits. It involves the study of the Year 2 and Year 3 of New Zealand University degree program that completes the undergraduate studies with the conferment of a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree certification.
