This is the New Zealand foundation qualification in providing a pathway as an opportunity to study the discipline of sciences as well as health sciences in any of the 8 universities in New Zealand, namely:

  1. Victoria University of Wellington
  2. The University of Auckland
  3. University of Canterbury
  4. University of Otago
  5. The University of Waikato
  6. Massey University
  7. Auckland University of Technology
  8. Lincoln University

Students can undertake the first year of Foundation programme locally in Malaysia, and complete the remaining 3 years of undergraduate degree in any of the 8 universities in New Zealand, while continuing year 4 to year 6 if students opt to pursue Engineering and Health Sciences.

Students are exposed to an engagingly diverse environment of global teaching and learning, assimilated in the courses suitably designed for the programmes offered. Furthermore, our revered academicians are experts in their field of study and industry, hence they are highly capable of guiding students in expectations especially to navigate their choice of undergraduate degree courses.

The syllabi for the core subjects in Foundation in Science were built with cooperation between University of Otago and University of Waikato, New Zealand. All examination papers are set and moderated by experienced academics from the university, hence confirming quality assurance both in terms of academic rigour and consistency at a global university standard.





  1. SPM – 5As and above with a compulsory Grade A in:
    • English (GCE-O) 1 or 2
    • Mathematics
    • Any 2 of Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
    • Any supporting subject
  2. IGCSE – a pass (C grade) in:
    • English
    • Mathematics
    • Principle of Physics or Chemistry or Biology
    • Any other two supporting subjects
  3. UEC

5 A2 in UEC 2 or minimum of 10 points
